Why rest when there's so much to get up to!!? For movie buffs, visit a Greater Union, Hoyts or Ace Cinemas, usually located in the city or the shopping malls listed previously. Ticket cost from $8.50 on budget Tuesdays to $11-13 on other days & Piccadilly Cinema will give Guild members $3.50 movies, any day, any time. If your taste runs to world movies, there's the Luna Palace cinemas in Leederville, Northbridge & Fremantle, where Guild members enjoy $7.50 Sundays! The Sunset Cinema season in Kings Park is ending its season in March, so get in quick for your fix of funky flicks coz they won't be back til November.
As for pubs, clubs & the like, most are located in Northbridge. There's Rise, Pallas, Metro City, The Church & Time for you to dance the night away in and Guild members enjoy free-entry before midnight to most of the above. For all you budding future pop stars or even those who are just big fans of karaoke, you can sing all night long in Dreamland, Chorus Club & Seoul Karaoke Restaurants.

The Music Department at UWA usually provides the calendars of music concerts by smaller groups, both local and visiting. Guild members can also buy ticket to WA Symphony Orchestra concerts at special prices. You can also obtain details of concerts & music festivals (rock, classical, pop, dance - you name it!) from street press like X press (free on Thursdays) or daily newspapers like The West Australian. For fans of gatecrasher & M.O.S., limited delirium tickets to dance music events are available at 20% discount for Guild members at the Guild Student Centre.
